It seems only yesterday that we had our last supper club but it was nearly three weeks ago! We usually only host them once  a month but felt so awful at letting people down. So we are doing an extra date this month.

I am really looking forward to cooking for our guests as I  rather over-dosed on sitting around and doing nothing last week!

Why?

Because I watched 5 Days of the first Test between England and India at Lords!!

I have been a cricket fan for umpteen years and have seen many matches and sometimes wished I was there for a different day, but this was a first.

And what a fantastic result! I won’t divulge my loyalties just in case some of my guests cancel for Saturday!

So shopping tomorrow and prepping on Friday – really looking forward to it.
